I agree that Purito should abandon. Go for the Tour-Vuelta double now?

Maybe he will stick around for stage wins though.

Blegh I'm already waiting for the cringey titles that will compare a fall in the Giro with the real battlefields of 1944 :(

I always find it painful to watch the race go on after such a big crash, but then again this is racing. It's part of it. 10km to go... the race is on. No waiting.

Give Evans a big gap, the more fun it is.

It's funny how Matthews now doesn't want to neutralize though

Because a sprinter Maglia Rosa's word on an MFT is a dead man's word. No meaning to it, everyone else would ignore him.

That said... he is anything but a dead man right now. Goddamn, what a trooper.

Why should he? He will win minutes back on the last week
Yup, he has all reason to be confident.

Evans is gonna grab as much time as he can here. Would be cool if he could hrab pink at one point in this race.

Matthews takes it. Will be interesting to see what the riders have to say about this attack.

Stupid stage. No competition for those riders, if only there wasn't a crash, it would be between viaviani, swift and matthews.
