Except he dropped his brother and is now isolated with three sky riders :D

Not ideal but doubt he'd (Adam) have the legs anyway, he's having a little rest after all his early season exploits.

Great riding from Simon, he's broke 2 Sky riders just Kennaugh and Swift left. It would be great for Simon Yates to win but I like Kennaugh and Swifty too!

I wouldn't doubt Sky's ability to lose this against Yates. Swift can probably manage to get boxed in a 4 men sprint and as for others I don't have much faith either.

Kennaugh and Swift have 23 secs on Yates now. Between these two surely for the win. Hope Simon can hold onto 3rd.

Sh*t

Frank wins, Andy third.

so no need to hope for anything from Andy in TdF :(

How come? 3rd is a good result.

Maybe a Lux native can tell us how the final played out. Christian?

Apparently Mullen does get to be the Irish elite champion in the road race as well as U23 champ. Why he can be both in the RR but only gets the u23 title in the TT remains one of life's little mysteries. Anyway, he attacked the lead group with about 25 km to go, and soloed home more than a minute clear.

It will be interesting to see how he does at the U23 TT worlds. And it will also be interesting to see if he is with An Post next year.
