Moviefan1203 said:Just curious, but how some so many of you guys don't seem to like Terpstra? Has he done something in the past that I'm not aware of?
Afrank said:Multiple times, he just keeps coming back under new guises. Eshnar banned one of them earlier today.

I have to say that Geraint Thomas was pretty extraordinary today. To think that Sky had EBH as leader.![]()
Highest placed of all dudes from the break, and that includes Boonen.Matdum94 said:He wasn't even in the top five and you say he was extraordinary?
Panda Claws said:Nah I do not really have anything against Terpstra.
I dislike it when someone wins who (in my opinion) was obviously not one of the few strongest or when I have a feeling that they will not be winning many more monuments. Terpstra fits both criteria.

EBH is still a big name, but Sky now has about 4 or 5 classics riders who are stronger than him. Even someone who isn't a classics rider but a GT contender is now strongerJRanton said:Great race.

While I agree with you that he probably wasn't the strongest man in the race, don't forget that he brought back Boonen, waited a few moments and then attacked to ride 7 k solo to the finish. He must have been at least one of the strongest to pull that off.Panda Claws said:Nah I do not really have anything against Terpstra.

Trond Vidar said:Amazing race today.
On Norwegian TV:
Hushovd said he felt incredibly strong today, but his job was to be out front and cover attacks. He also said he wished he had been stronger earlier this year so that BMC would have ridden for him, but he had not earned that spot this year.
You could tell he was frustrated, and between the lines was that he might have been with the first group if it had been otherwise.
