And Paris - Nice. That one would be my guess, anyway...

****e not sure how that happened. Nibali would be a big problem if it's Eze TT again and short prologue.

frank schleck will show team sky how it's done

Porte's the favourite if he shows up anywhere near in form he showed at Paris-Nice he'll be very difficult to beat.

Porte's goal is the Giro, so he won't come in good form at TDU. Last year, he could afford to target PN, but now, with a different approach, he won't even arrive in good form at Paris-Nice.

The way Porte talks about TDU and such races doesn't indicate he's going to soft-pedal there. However, unlike Porte Nibali had a long rest period after the TdF, which allowed him to target Tirreno. Considering Porte's assigned responsibilities in July to align the Sky train, it would be more sensible not to set any pre-Giro targets. We'll just have to wait how this will unveil.

The talk of aiming for the TDU GC could just be PR though, to increase the publicity of the race. Just like in Beijing, where they talked of Porte going for the overall and he actually ended up getting dropped by Kenny Van Hummel on a 4th category climb.

Porte is usually in good form for the Australian summer- 2011 he came 3rd in the Aus RR.

Last year he showed that by Oman he was in good form, so he should win at least one of the warm up races. Speaking of which, no Oman?

In any other team, you may be right, but Sky's approach seems to entail good form for the entire first half of the season.
