these are my 15 minutes of fame. yesterdays winner and overall top ten. my bad days can come ...

Cancellara should hold us in good stead, though those of us with Cancellara need to have the game won by the time the roubaix dust settles.

Points from DvV
Nobody has selected winner or runner up: only one team chose Bozic, and the next highest finisher pertinent to the game is 8th placed Gatto. No surprise then that Leadbelly, having both of those (plus, of course, Boonen) is runaway winner on the day.

Gatto was also picked by Flo and Search: those in positions 4 to 8 are all the teams that feature Keukeleire.

Chapeau to Search, who has 11 of his 12 riders off the mark.

So lets see, Bennati and Haymen decides the race was too tough and drops out, Boonen hits the deck and Nuyens is clearly overrated. Going well for my team.

Can it get worse in GW? Possible.

Wow you got less points than me in E3, why did Netapp not giving Sam Bennett a run and why did Phinney have to get ill?:(

Lightbing's unique pick of Degenkolb will make him the main point scorer today. Only top 10 finishers logged so far, but those who combine Vanmarcke, Boonen and Roelandts (and that means asdfgh101, the leader, Jakob747, Hugo87 and Batchuba) will provide the day's podium.

It had been cancelled for financial reasons but finally found some support and the date was displaced to April 5.
Because of these events, almost no important team is on the startlist : 3 WT teams, 1 Cont Pro (Caja Rural) and 7 Continental teams + National Team of Ecuador.

This means that this race does not have its place in this competition.

It does retain its place in this competition (and its original date) although it may well be that there will be negligible impact on the scores.

6th place for Hesjedal, a unique pick for Search which means he now has all 12 of his team off the mark.

Probably few other points today: tomorrow should be rather more significant.

Edit: no other points gained at all: Search moves from 28th to 23rd.

One more like that would be nice, but I'm not sure Vanmarcke will give Cancellara another sprint win.

If Cancellara would try a little bit more not to gamble on a sprint, but instead rides away where he can (I believe he was so much stronger then the other three in that group, at least, that's what it looked like to me) he finishes alone on the Velodrome i hope. Or with Tom, if God helps us all. That'd be great.
