Christian Guiberteau: «This is favourable for a bunch sprint»

Questioned during the race by France Televisions, Giant-Shimano's DS Christian Guiberteau said: “With five riders in the lead, it's a race scenario favourable for a bunch sprint finish. Cannondale was quick to ride behind the breakaway with us, Lotto did a bit too and Katusha should cooperate soon. Usually in the last stage before the time trial and Paris, it's more difficult to control the race but many teams want the same thing today. John Degenkolb has recovered from his injury. He's really motivated. If Marcel Kittel overcomes the hill before the finish, he's faster than John but more probably, it's a good finish for John.

Hopefully, Nibali loses 8 minutes today so that he has to go full gas in the TT.

Asked what he will do after he'll quit cycling, Sagan says: I hope nothing. You gotta love the guy.

it set them back significantly to break their spirit
Froome didn't even reach them, and AC's spirit didn't look too broken in the next days at all.
Both of them have been knocked out by full ordinary tarmac.

I think the OP was about Rodriguez, not Contador. Doesn't make much sense either of course.

There's a few tight corners in the last few KM's. Someone could get away.

I do think we'll see folks attack on this climb. The strong riders just need to go and who gives a **** if they tow Sagan. They can outfox him.

Maybe Tony wants to test himself for tomorrow and goes for it after the climb for a 13 km TT!
