If valverde can gap the rest enough, he might do someting crazy on nibali in the next days to win this tour.

But he won't, and he's right, nibali is way too good.

Really happy that Pinot can hang on to Valverde and Nibali. And Porte indeed has his "one bad day" :cool:

If the 2nd group doesn't work together they will lose 2 minutes to Valverde/Pinot and then the podium is decided

At least Valverde makes sure he doesn't have to worry about the rest if he ever comes in a position to really challenge Nibali.

Porte might as well walk up the climb so at least he loses enough time to go into the breaks. Although he's cycling slow enough that perhaps he doesn't need to walk!
