Don't think Garmin are doing themselves any favours here.

They attack the peloton then persuade Talansky to carry on ?? Shouldn't they have made those decisions in the reverse order ?

Surely Talansky is in a huge amount of pain which won't just disappear !

And the amount of effort he will need to put in today would surely rule him out of any stage wins too?

Seems crazy to me . . . .

All this moaning. We should be thanking the Garmin guys for at least making something interesting happen in an otherwise uninteresting first 120kms.

The tactic was logical to ride for Slagter :rolleyes: what wasn't logical is why they burned through the team so fast. And Slagter not being good enough, that's a risk you have
