I hope you are right :) I don't like finishes like this. At least they could make it more technically. I know it would be dangerous but at least more interesting.

Exactly.. Especially since there seems to be only one contender for the win if nothing goes wrong (crash etc.) .. I'd wish that the level of the sprinters where more even, then a stage finish like this would be fine..

Looks like Lotto are near the front for the intermediate which comes with 47km to go?

Giant have a man on the front and still a large bunch of Lotto riders, including the Gorilla 3 or so back.

Rain at Canary Wharf apparently

Been raining here in Stratford, east London. Roads slightly damp, will probably completely dry out unless there are further showers.

Gotta love Tommy the Attention W*ore :p

Tommy is a rare breed. once jensie retires, we will hav to rely on him for some fireworks in the middle of stage.

i think many teams fly or take a ferry

They tend to take the TGV for the jump to Paris for advertizing purposes, they might be planning to do the same thing today with the Eurostar. All buses etc will be ferried without doubt.

Yeah, we can make fun of him all we want, but cycling would be so much more fun if we had 10 more guys like him in the peloton.

Agreed. Wish more guys would go for broke just because.
