Froome sprints in the first stage, for car position, covers attacks by doms in the second stage and falls when the car position thing really matters. Brilliant.

A tactical genius I tells ya!

OPQS started with 4 km to go. For Renshaw.

That has to be a big fail. Do they not know any other way to ride the finale of a sprint stage?

Renshaw, on Kristoff's wheel, was looking over his shoulder so much at Kittel that he missed the start of the sprint and lost the wheel. If you can look around and focus on other things that much, it's pretty obvious you're not at your max, get out there and race Renshaw.

Sagan vs. Greipel > Perfect example that bike handling superior skills can more than offset the superior speed. His zigzag through the peloton all the way from aback the only exciting thing about today's race

Kittel looked weak without his lead out men luckily he had the best lead out man in the world Renshaw's wheel

I dont think Kittel can win any sprints without a proper lead out

I think they should put Martin on the front at 3km to go with the rest of the team behind him, then have them all sit-up to give him a gap and go solo.

It'll only work once but it could be amusing. ;)

Trolling the sprint, that's exactly the kind of things I want to see them do. :D

Who can? And no, not Sagan, he doesn't win flat sprints.

No, he did let Kristoff go to force Kittel's hand. Why should he do a lead-out for Kittel?

Let's not forget the speed the peloton was moving with Tinkoff and Garmin pulling like mad.

I'm kind of glad neither Lotto nor Steppers were successful here. Pathetic plan and tactics.

An ok flat stage, but it could have been better if raced harder.

Anyway the run in was interesting and we got a proper sprint without trains involved at the absolute business end.

Congrats to Kittel. Continues to be the best sprinter here.

And we saw how well that worked out for him. Yesterday we saw that it's not going to be possible to win from behind him, so what's the logic in letting Kittel in front of you with 200m to go?

Kristoff could have won this, but he was left alone too early.I still hope that Kittel will make a mistake somewhere and somebody will steal a win for him on the next flat stages.
