Time to eliminate dry flat roads from the Tour. Clearly too dangerous to allow a rider's whole GC ambition for the year to be determined by a stroke of bad luck on a dry flat road.

Let's not complain that someone tried to win points at a sprint point. Isn't that more fun for us than if Renshaw only focused on losing sprints at the end of stages? Do we think he really reduced his odds of winning the whole stage by that much by grabbing a few extra points?
