Did they all get in?

Couple of guys went down hard on the finish straight just before the Talansky crash. Looked pretty bad. (was hard to see, looked like Netapp and IAM. Thought it was Chavanel cause I saw an orange bike, but he made top 10 I believe.

Ehhhhh, Gerrans zig zagged the whole field in a sprint. Not entirely Talansky's fault for not looking out for someone who was racing like they shouldn't have.

JV full of ****. Gerrans has no fault. Talansky was loking the other way.

That's funny,so Talanski lost his brains in the midle of a sprint and Gerrans is to blame, that Vaughters guy must be drunk:D

If you can't stay out of trouble in a finish like today then some things wrong. All Talansky had to do was roll home. School boy error that he will pay for.

Bob Roll actually sounding insightful on Talansky crash. (apocalypse pending?)

It was Talansky's fault he shouldn't go for the stage win there if he wants to win the overall.

It looked like TJ's teammate caused him to crash.

I laughed like a madman when I saw Little Richie trying to pull a Nibali and just making a fool of himself. :D

Well he was making his warming-up for tommorow stage:p

Wow, Trentin's win was even closer than the one he took last year. He's making an habit of coming on top in those tight finishes. He is very good rider, and he never disappoints when his teammates put their faith in him. He probably deserves to ride his own race more often.

Sagan is amazing. How he finds new ways to lose day after day, I'll never know. Surely though, he can't have that many more tricks up his sleeve and he'll have to settle for a win soon.

Agree with those suggesting Sagan had to go with GVA or he would've been sprinting for 2nd anyway. Although he did try to come round Trentin too late.

Also, is LeMond the single least articulate person on television?

Birdsong still sounding less than pleased about working for Vincenzo. Also claiming he wants a top 5 finish

Since when was he going for the stage win?

Sagan seemed kinda boxed in behind Dumoulin, I'm sure he would have won otherwise.

It seemed to me that botb Talansky and Gerrans were at fault. Gerrans for zigzagging in a sprint (everyone knows that's just plain dangerous for both yourself and others), Talansky for looking around.

I hope VDB didn't hurt himself too much but he looked OK right after the crash. Anyway, it's about time that the real mountains are here to seperate the true contenders and guarantee less crazy nervous racing.

Hopefully Talansky will learn from today, there's no point in sprinting when you have no chance of winning the stage.

Van den Broeck hit the deck too, I hope he's ok.

And a shame the time loss by Tejay, stupidly taken down by a teammate (it was the loser Van Avermaet I think)

Watch the video of the finish again. The only time Gerrans moved is when he had to go around Talansky when he looked right. Then when he was around him he went back to the same place in the road and Talansky couldn't alter his momentum and went down...... moral of the story, look ahead.

Same goes for the Van Garderen crash, Teejay had recovered but Rojas rode ride over the back of him.....

Gerrans wasn't zigzagging. He moved to his left when Talansky veered and basically held his line. He was going back right but that was after Talansky hit him. The door wasn't closed on AT. A few seconds later perhaps it would have been, but not when the crash occurred.
