Supposed to be a head wind, that will limit attacks. So unless the break stays away which isn't likely it will come down to the last short, steep climb and that says Valverde to me. Go Alejandro!
Yeah I'm pretty sure Alejandro marked this stage...but does he have the form?

I've never understood that saying. In my opinion "Don't do today what you can put off until tomorrow" makes more sense.
Sounds like some saying from the Mediterrean or Latin America perhaps? A born procrastinator. ;)

Why waste energy to get 2 seconds today when that energy can gain him 10 seconds on Monday? :)

Good stage for Valverde and Slagter also maybe Gerrans and Alabasini. Not sure if Rodriguez has got what it takes at the moment but if he wants a stage win this is his type of stage. Maybe he has not been pushing too hard the past few days and waiting for a stage like this.

... Contador in 16th place of GC just aint right.

So far we have had 2 decent climbs. the first at 50km of the finish, the second at 20 km from the finish (both on stage 2). So 16th place isn't too bad. Certainly not regarding the stages we had so far.

Ok, Talansky is back with the leaders. Just seen a few live pics and it didnt look like the peloton was all together.

14:10 Chavanel and Terpstra at the front

Two riders in the lead at km 26: Terpstra and Chavanel, six seconds ahead of chasers, twelve seconds ahead of the reunited peloton. Talansky and Voeckler are no longer off the back.

but he also needs to look after Talansky...he will be suffering a little bit after that crash

according to himself he has a free role for stages like this, unless he doesn't feel good enough for the win, then he can chose to help talansky :)

Got a man in the break and have stopped chasing. We have our break of the day:

Chavanel, Terpstra, Kadri, Yates and Petit.
