Yeah I'm pretty sure Alejandro marked this stage...but does he have the form?

I've never understood that saying. In my opinion "Don't do today what you can put off until tomorrow" makes more sense.

Sounds like some saying from the Mediterrean or Latin America perhaps? A born procrastinator.

Why waste energy to get 2 seconds today when that energy can gain him 10 seconds on Monday?

Good stage for Valverde and Slagter also maybe Gerrans and Alabasini. Not sure if Rodriguez has got what it takes at the moment but if he wants a stage win this is his type of stage. Maybe he has not been pushing too hard the past few days and waiting for a stage like this.

So far we have had 2 decent climbs. the first at 50km of the finish, the second at 20 km from the finish (both on stage 2). So 16th place isn't too bad. Certainly not regarding the stages we had so far.
