I guess you saw neither 2006 nor 2007.willbick said:Lets be honest. There's not much in le tour nowadays for the cycling fan. In fact its been dull as ditchwater since the late 80s

Flamin said:As expected, easy win for Froomey. Seems like he will be even better than last year![]()
wwabbit said:Not surprising, having watched the video of the last year's climb. There was a lot of cat-and-mouse going on between the contenders last year, so times are going to be slower, whereas this year it sounds like a straight grind all the way to the top.

Bakhjulet said:Remember that Froome attacked with just 1.5k to go. Hell, he must have gone banans to gain so much time on such a short distance.
Netserk said:Giro was far better both years.
Dude, did you see more than just the highlights? First two weeks of the Tour was a yawn. The Giro had a lot of action on several days.Arredondo said:You're serious? Giro 2011 was just complete domination from Contador. Quite boring, if you're not a fanboy. Giro 2010 was really good, but in 2011 we saw a fantastic fight between Schleck and Evans, with Voeckler who hold his yellow yersey for a very long time. I will never forget the stages to Galibier and Alpe d'Huez. Even the Giro 2010 couldn't match it.
With the word far, you admit you didn't watch closely the Tour back in those days.
