It would be hilarious to see Cannondale to fail one more time to catch a break and then sprint for whatever is left to take.

Schleck is messing with the peloton.

Schleck chasing a break, game over for the peloton :D
Seriously good to see him doing this for a team mate even though that's really not his specialty!

Problem was he wasn't able to stay there for too long.

Wonder if riders might gift him a stage since its last race of the career?

Also, anyone knows what is the gradient up Vail (TT)? Looks like <4% to me but I hope I am just reading it wrong
I dont think Cannondale would go for it though. They were saving themselves for today

Maybe as an overall average. The lead up to where it begins to pitch up is pretty flat. The last 6-7K are probably 6-7%

Cant wait for Jens and the Schlecks to disappear. Good riddance to bad rubbish. Good on Tvetcov, though. Making a name.

Why Jens?? He ain't no bad rubbish. He put on a good show today. He is one of the most aggressive riders in the peleton...seems like he is always in a breakaway, always on the attack. I wonder if anyone has a list of how many breakaways he has been in....gots to be more than most other riders.

I think many don't like how he's 'milking' his image.

I was a huge Jens fan. My faves are the animators and the hardmen. He's too entrenched in the old school to be on a committee against clinical, much less representing new generation riders. Vino is a villain, still one of my faves. Jens just needs to go home and hang with his family. Call it good and leave cycling be. His legacy will last I think, but only because he's lucky and wasn't a dbag like like some of the same generation. The sooner that gen goes the better off cycling is, despite how much fans may appreciate their efforts.

I almost switched off the TV, but luckily the peloton made it:

Cantwell used to be able to sprint a bit, but now its up to Kohler and Tvetcov to beat Viviani in the sprint. No embarrassment today. Congrats to the Italian.
