It's all good bro, it's fun. But my bold statement is still valid on some MTF until La Vuelta is over.

OK. I will look forward this. (no attacks needed, we are, thanks god, not in the clinic)
TBH, I thought too (silently) Froome would break today. Even wondered about Skys strange tactics the last two mountain stages. It just got me today: Froome rides own tempo, no matter what happens around him. It surprised me twice now. But it won´t a 3rd time...

You wrote: ''And part of the reason why Froome is not the most exciting rider unless you are his fan.'' I told you that you don't have to be his fan in order to consider him the most exiting rider because it is subjective. Just that.

it is very subjective.
I am a Ryder fan and today I had 180 heart beats when he caught and passed Zaugg
I am a Froome fan because of the clinic, so no emotions involved, just fun today to see the clinic going mad

What do you want? Should he have given up on his chance to win? The team will surely want to win a stage in case Alberto loses overall.

Zaugg shoudl have saved energy for Monday, jesus christ. who cares for Vuelta stage victories in the team that have a real chance to win overall. Either they should play 100% Alberto's card or nothing. It was the same in Giro, also ****ed up.
But I believe Zaugg was really there as a joker for Alberto. when it was clear the peloton would not catch the breakaway, Paulinho returned and Zaugg got free.

He should have stayed there and then incidently elbow Froom to ground hehe. No, not really.

Either Win or save something to help for the rest of the mountain stages. It isn't like TS had a strong mountain contingent here.

But the team obviously gave him the go ahead so I most likely overreacted :).

you = nitpicking
My point is that he would have had a(n even) greater chance to win the stage if he in fact had covered Hesjedal instead of countered him.

There is quite the difference between the two, so I don't get your 'nitpicking' remark. I said it would've been better if he hadn't countered him and you respond with "he covered him".

The problem is that he was in the front until about 250 meters to go. Until then his chances of wining were qute realistic. Would you expect him to stop once passed by Ryder, so close to the line, and wait for Contador?

on such gradients, the drafting is meaningless anyway
he can only help you mentally as a wheel to follow

Let's agree to disagree. I suppose I misunderstood your post.

Agree with all of this. Whether you like him or not, Froome's renaissance today is great for the race - it was beginning to look like a procession for Contador since Quintana quit. Rodriguez and Valverde were never going to seriously challenge him.

What renaissance?
