crybabies are whining again.....

Bertie is back, and that's all that matters. Sorry fellas, ur hero didn't match the resurgent AC.

If those eurosport guys hadn't botched up the feed and the commentary, then everyone would have seen that AC was the strongest.

btw, who is the crybaby in ES today? he was whining about everything other than what was happening in the race :(

Paris-Nice was a fluke, that much is clear if you look at how the guys who did well there ride right now. For someone who wants to compete at the Tour, this is the kind of race where you should perform.

Did you even read the tweet? He is ill so i think we can give him a pass for today. Or do you think this is his normal level?

What people don't seem to be able to awcknowledge is that this isn't just black and white. There's not only Contador and Froome fanboys. There's actually those who want a clean sport and not their idols making fun of the rest of the peloton.

Last year, I don't think that Contador won anything in spring. Froome actually won the Tour of Oman this year and he has pulled out of TA, so we don't know how he is going on yet. Froome is going to be a big favourite in the Tour of Romandie with two ITT.
Oman was in winter ;)

Great Ride by Berto :) Valverde attacks big time, Alberto did look in trouble there for a bit, like Fabu yesterday. Then Berto say Bye and leaves planted on the road :D

Alberto climbing back up to number #1. Be afraid Froome, Be Very Afraid!

I hope Saxo is up to the task of guarding him for the entire race!!!!!

i was watching the stream while driving to work (I know, I know, that's not good thing to do). My stream doesn't have audio (darn android!). So I just catch glimpse here and there. I saw Contador attack and run all the way down ahead of Valverde. Great ride by Contador considering he got some slight cold. :D His DS has different tune than Catalunya, so I expect that contador must at least recover from his long range attack at TA.

For sure, July will be exciting. Froome is going to get his match finally. :D

I hope PV is more thrilling than Catalunya. (too many big stars, not much going on :p)

The Kennaugh hype train gets derailed before it even got going.

I don't understand sky. Why won't they give the leadership to Nieve? This terrain suits him better than Kenaugh? Is this just because it's british team therefore let's pick british leader?? I know he won copi but PV terrain is too hilly and step and seems to suit Nieve better.

Great ride by Nieve. Stomp your foot, Nieve!! :D

wow- Contador bluffing & toying with an in-top-form Valverde? damn- he's back and ready!!!:D

It looks like Valverde was so in form he would buy any bluffing and believed that he could just drop anyone in that type of climb, his imbatido runs of late started to get to him and today he saw something.

Hmm

Had the legs but not the luck, changing bikes twice at a terrible moment ruined the day. More to come the next few days so we're looking up!

Thanks @Stefclement for handing me your bike but please can you change the saddle height a bit? +/- 6cm?

 seems lik Gesink rode on a bike to small for him in the final

Your replies say it all really but i agree you can cheer your favs which is why i said though its quite 2 faced. Dont you agree we would see a huge intake of people in the clinic if this was Froome that is all im saying.

From what I've seen in the clinic, and based on the various deragotory nicknames I've seen used for Contador, he is isn't exactly living a charmed life in that segment of the forum. Maybe Froome has gotten more attention because he's been more successful (at least in 2013 compared to Contador).

Yeah about 1% of the cycling fans maybe.

Very inconsistent rider. He was horrible in Tirreno, a week later won Coppi Bartali and is now horrible again. Now obviously the fields are a lot stronger at the world tour events and he was never likely to be a contender at Pais Vasco but even so. Not good.
