I have to admit that Contador has pulled some valuable conclusions from the past... Don't beat a tt specialist, it just strengthens the suspicion and doesn't mean a lot to you.
When you have Tinkov for a boss and concentrated Riis for a manager, the old Contador is certainty.

Get a life dude, try get out more.

What the hell. Kirby even read the 1st split times and said on air, "Martin with the fastest time, from Contador...", yet somehow he had no idea that he was going so fast?

Bring back Harmon

people should just admit it, contador is back to his usual self and this is really just a typical contador year.
Win a few big races before the tour before winning the tour.
Froome, watch out .

tx. that does help.

but i'm actually thrilled. remember when disco underperformed in 2006 and it was all because the riders weren't motivated (for themselves) like they had been for the wonderful armstrong.

same clearly for contador. he was just unmotivated last year (and let's not forget all those pesky allergies!). But now he has Oleg Tinkov to ride for! He's got his motivation back! I am absolutely thrilled!!

You must have gotten lost. Clinic is that way---->

Had it been a flat 40-50k time trial, where he had only lost 7sec to TMartin, I would have been more suspicious. Now, this was a TT with very few actually flat sections and 25k. Suits AC like perfectly and will always do so

2. Contador (Tinkoff-Saxo) 38:40
3. Kwiatkowski (OPQS) 38:48

7. Dumoulin (Giant) 39:11
8. Ion Izagirre (Movistar Team) 39:14

10. Pinot (FDJ) 39:58

Final GC
1. Contador
2. Kwaitkowski
3. Valverde

5. Spilak?

By my reckoning, JCP is 3rd, Valverde and Spilak on same total time (VV 4th on positions, or does it go to fractions of a second today?)

what does this supposed to mean? Schleck and Cancellara was under Riis wing long time. Are suggesting what you are suggesting? Really? If I were rider, it would be stupid to even think of that. Your suggestion is clearly off base or you just hate the fact that contador can win TDF this year. Go watch curling

Špilak 4th on fractions of a second, Don Alejandro 5th. Placements take precedence when no time trial has been had, but if there is a time trial and fractions of a second can be measured, they take precedence.

Kirby: "Kwiatkowski 8 seconds away from taking the title..." - Is he always this ignorant?

I actually laughed out loud when he said that. It was the icing on the cake after what will go down in history as the world record of botched information bits per minute of commentary.

Valverde loses his podium place and he has only himself to blame. Again.

REALLLYY???? (i haven't seen the results). Not even getting to a podium after touted as being strong all week long? Wow this must go down to his biggest mistake. Bigger than Purito napping in the peloton after rest day at 2012 Vuelta. His overly too confident and under estimated Contador + Kwiat are his main downfall

If AC is just 7 seconds off TM, should we blame the 2 hills for TM's bad performance or congratulate AC for a returning back to old self?

totally confused!!!!:rolleyes::rolleyes:

The way you've responded to my post speaks a lot about your understanding and explanation of Contador's performance today. A lot more than it's written in my comment.
Thank you.

hmmm. absolutely nothing that i have said is clinic-related.

the fact that you have inferred something i did not intend says much more about your own sub-conscious beliefs in the state of cycling and what you just watched than mine.

Let me repeat that at this moment I am absolutely euphoric!
