One late entry, from Karaev. He has been a regular in these games, and the team is 23rd on the popularity of picks chart: I see no reason to suspect cherry picking from the teams already submitted, but if any of you wish to imagine that team in the tables with an asterisk, feel free. He has no unique picks, but has robbed no-one of any.

HilltopFinisher submitted a team with 2 Campbell Flakemores in it. Again, he is a regular participant in CQ games, and I have told him that so long as the replacement is fairly low among the popularity rankings, there should be no difficulty in believing that it was someone on his radar anyway. (Later edit: he has replaced one of the Flakemores with GIBSON Matthew, a unique pick and a member of his youth team)
Karaev's inclusion of Gaviria releases the perhaps unsurprising statistical quirk that Gaviria was absent from all the early submissions, up to Stage 2 of San Luis, but in more than half of those sent in after that.
One other footnote to the team submissions: one entrant , perhaps confusing this with the Career in Decline game, sent in a team of 15 instead of 18 on CN. He then sent, via Velorooms, another team of 15, 7 of whom had been on the original list. With no reply to my having alerted him to my awareness to his ruse, I have entered his team as the 15 names from the first submitted list, plus the first three non-repeated names on the second team. I shall respect his anonymity to protect the guilty.
Later edit: Joelsim had sent an adjusted team that I missed: it was well in advance of the deadline. Per that message, Gaviria and Mareczco have replaced McLay and unique pick Van Lerberghe.
Apologies to Hilltop, Karaev and the unnamed dual-entrant for the use of male pronouns if they are not male.
