Re:

Beautiful win, big balls!
Congrats to Zakarin also, hope he can show us more!

Im a bit sad about Quintana, he could attack, he had legs even for sprint (and he's worse sprinter than AC  )

Zakarin will have about 20 secs going into tomorrow, how's he on a TT bike?

He was Russian ITT Champion two years ago.

This is a different league, ofc.

Pinot had a decent performance in last year's ITT.

Pinot riding style is awful, i mean, it's not Dan Martin but still awfull
Who cares really? Not everyone is constituted the same.

Conta stands to much, Froomes elbows are to wide, Valverde is tactically inept and so on.. Its just racing.

Its not Eacartin :)

Zakarin was Euro junior TT champ at age 17 in 2007, two years before his ban.

Deserved winner. Pinot (and Zakarin) were STRONGER than Froome no matter how you see things. How good is Zakarin in time trials.??

Pinot deserved it. Love this man's riding style. While not as powerful, he has about as many kicks as Contador and Quintana.

I have an impression that the Tour heavyweights were seizing themselves up a bit.
Nothing to be taken from Pinot's effort, though. Really good rider.
I'd like to hear a word or two from Nibali. He blew so suddenly.

Great win for Pinot. Paced himself perfectly during the climb.
Interesting TT tomorrow, it's not gonna be easy to beat Zakarin.

I think Froome is as strong as the last couple of years. The other teams were just riding WAY smarter and Sky was pretty weak. If this is Froome's TDF team, he is going to be grilled.

Why the hell would you send Nieve and Kiryienka to the Giro instead of the Tour? Roche is overrated and the rest are not climbers. And a guy like Henao doesn't belong in a train. He is a pure attacker.

damnit, was about to try a joke like "Zak to be the next banned guy" - reality beats me, he already was...

Don't forget. Last year Nibali ended his Tour of Romandie in 5th, 1 min 48 secs behind CF.

He seems to be exactly on the same path as in 2014. I think we will be able to tell only in July.
