this. and other GC contenders better be taking notes now. attack sky downhill, froome will be timid and/or can be pressured into making mistakes.

for one, I assume Nibali could have done even better than bardet. and 1.20 is a hefty gap in its own right.

Big gap yes but let's be honest here, nobody in the bunch was taking any risks at all, Froome was even on the front at the bottom of the descent. They will all take many more risks next month.
