Again, the GPS timing is awful ... Judging by when the lead trio went under the 45km to go banner they only have 23 seconds over the chase group.

I timed 3 leaders to Peleton at 8:11 so seems right to me. Niemiec has a real chance today good luck to him.

I'd really like if Niemec could win or take maglia rosa

Hope he gets pink, but someone gets the stage. Preferably Kruiswijk for me, but I doubt it with the competition he has in this break.

I dig that scenario totally, really loved he whole Belkin/Rabo trio of Gesink, Steven and Bauke,

Betancur should win the stage if he is in good form. Zakarin is a bit of an unknown, but has not been great so far in the Giro.

Did we get confirmation of the TV where Contador supposedly took 2 seconds

And what was the category of that really long climb, Kruijswijk got 15 points while I see it being a cat 2 everywhere

At what odds? I have some money on Betancur at odds 81 so I hope the break holds :)
At 5.00. You made an each-way bet? Then Zakarin 1 and Betancur 2 would be good for us :)

I can't see Niemiec taking pink today.
I could he's a competent climber and there's only 17km to get to climb if he gets there with 8 minutes got a good chance?
Edit.as I say that it's 7:52 so won't be enough for him

Since when do domestiques use a backpack to carry bottles? This is the first time I've seen it.
