Was Contador behind Basso as Basso cracked, or did Contador just crack?

Prolly the first one

I opened the cyclingnews live to see what they said, and a few minutes before they were already remarking Contador was in trouble

Basso left a gap and Contador in fresh air there

Basso. A crack just seemed to open up between him and the rider ahead of him and left Contador a gap

preferably Tinkoff-Saxo should have lost out by the smallest possible margin, but getting 2nd by a relatively big margin is not a bad result either. 20 seconds earned on Porte. Good job!

Best result possible for Contador. No pink, but headstart over all rivals.

Monday could be an interesting stage. Lets see how Greenedge defend.

If I were Oleg I would throw Basso into break for fun though obv that won't happen.
