They have the people to do it as well SKY has sometimes the people to to that, not really surprising.
Basso was a problem today, but he will be very important in some stages at the end.
Tinkoff is the strongest team of the Giro, if someone had doubts.
But in 59,2 ITT nobody will be there to help Alberto.
Thanks, you gave me a laugh on an otherwise boring afternoonstaubsauger said:Well it was pretty clear, that this Giro is gonna be Aru vs. Contador!
I guess LaFlo was right about Tinkov being a sexist! There can't be any other reason Tinkoff hired Basso, than for his slutty sister being around to suck Oleg's coq!![]()

Oh and big thank you to Dutch NOS for saying there's Giro live coverage when actually there's hockey on. I would have headed off into a sports bar if I had known!![]()

I wanst bad. I though Orica wanst so good without Turf, but they are expert in this TTT, and I hope a little bit better SKY, but the rest it was as I thougt. I waited more for Cannondale Garmin.
You didn't get a single team right![]()
Yes cause that is obviously what happened. he was taking the shortest turns. go count them and he blew up when closing a gap.T-Nielsen said:Ryo Hazuki said:alberto was one of the worst of his team. he did the shortest relays and when he had to close a gap he exploded immediately.Flamin said:It looked like Contador came off the front and thought Basso would come trough, meanwhile Basso was cooked and wanted Contador to jump in again in front of him. What a load of drivel.
He was taking strong turns and the gap occurred because he felt good and wanted to pull Basso up with him. It was a mistake, but it was sign of strenght not weakness.

True but the course TT course is not to his disadvantage and it wouldn't surprise me if he put time on his rivals, or, at the very least, ride a good TT.

He shoudl put time to all his rivals except Rigo and Porte, other way very bad for him. Contador is very good in 20-30 Km long ITT, but not so good in long ITT, even in his golden years, althoug he won a 40 ITT to Cancellara and Wiggins in the Tour de France (with Cancellara the wind changed and helped Contador, but with Wiggins no significative), so, that Contador would be the favourite to win this ITT. We will see. Maybe he is the first favourtite to win that ITT for a lot of people and betting webs...
What I said is that day nobody will help him and we will see his real potential, today we just can speculate if he were more or less strong. He said he is a little short on shape and he put some time on his rivals today, so he is more favorurite to win the Giro today than yesterday.

That's not going to become the truth no matter how many times and in how many threads you write it.
Like I said, everyone sees what he/she wants to see.Flamin said:Ryo actually has a point. In the 2nd part you see Alberto taking 2 short pulls and even skipping one. In the 1st he does a long one (around the intermediate check) and more we don't see. So I'm actually pretty curious why some people say Ryo is talking nonsense and claiming Alberto was doing strong pulls.
