Overall good performance for Tinkov-Saxo, but Basso isn't going to be a big help in the moutains it seems, while I have to say Contador did not look brilliant at least in today's effort. Perhaps not having raced for so long, he's not carburating optimally yet. It is possible. Hopefully he looks better come Weds.

I'm feeling sorry for them. Both teams were much better before they merged
Yep. Poor Hesjedal. I dont understand how they get that weaker compared to 2012 for example where Garmin won the TTT at the Giro.

Yep, I think that's just what happened. It didn't look good. I'm wondring why on earth was Basso in that position. The man who should have been in Bosso's position was Rogers.

i believe Cannondale/Garmin are full with young riders now. (danielson, martin, and hesjedal are the only ages rider). Unfortunately Vaughter haven't found the magic touch of getting the best of your youngster like Matt White with Orica yet.

I wanst bad. I though Orica wanst so good without Turf, but they are expert in this TTT, and I hope a little bit better SKY, but the rest it was as I thougt. I waited more for Cannondale Garmin.

Tinkoff-Saxo DS Lars Michaelsen: "Basso dropping was the reason we didn't do better. We would like to have won". He didn't look happy at all. Pressure from Tinkoff?
Why would they want to defend the jersey this early?

Here we go. Would Oleg just f-ing disappear. The team has enough pressure without this frustrated ego maniac of a goon having illusions of grandeur and getting himself into matters he should stay the f-uck out of.

In any case unless it was to gain a few more seconds on his rivals, Contador's team left him in the ideal position. He has gained time on Porte, Uran and Aru, but doesn't have the responsibility of wearing the pink jersey.

alberto was one of the worst of his team. he did the shortest relays and when he had to close a gap he exploded immediately.
