At Basso's age, I think that he was deliberately sandbagging the early stages since he has no hopes to get a high placing. I thought that the team was having him take it easy to save something for the latter half of the race.

That being said, is he still in the Contador group since I can't find him when they do the overhead shots.

Yeah I think he'll still get top 10. I think he could push 5th or 6th.

The man with recuperation as his biggest weapon. I hope he goes into more breaks to learn how to win those. With his great recovery he could win a lot of stages in the 3rd week

What's funny about it is that he joined QS to test his chances at the Tour. But while Kwiatkowsi and Cavendish are in the team he won't step in France.
