it's as hard as always. I frankly don't see what makes you think otherwiseJack_89 said:Uhm.
It doesn't seems too hard. Only last week has many mountains.
So, Giro-Tour is possible...
yeah, I read that article too. I'll edit the OP.Matt92 said:Stage 12 (May 21st) will go from Marostica to Jesolo. Flat stage, probably.
2011?Red Rick said:What is the last time there were good mountain stages in the first 12 stages and they didn't end in the Dolomites? Not counting 2009

yes. A normal Giro. Meaning hard as always.Jack_89 said:6 MTF with Madonna di Campoglio and Abetone not too hard climbs.
First and second weeks with only Abetone and hilly stages.
Final week instead is diffcult as always with ITT and many mountains.
A normal Giro without extremism

Giro d'Italia![]()
Lunedì 15 Settembre verrà svelata una delle tappe più importanti del Giro d'Italia 2015.
Indizio: la strada sarà in salita... e che salita!
Monday, September 15 one of the most beautiful stages of the Giro d'Italia 2015 will be unveiled.
Clue: the road will be uphill... and what a climb!

Those are Dolomites. Plan de Corones maybe?
Nice catch.Stromeon said:Definitely Madonna di Campiglio 100%.
Now just praying for a well-designed stage![]()
well, it's a challenging descent, but nothing extraordinaryLord Stanley said:Seeing those gradients, isn't Daone descend scary?
Yeah, really a dumb move.Netserk said:I don't like that they moved the finish to the top.
Maybe Croce Domini?Matt92 said:Actually, that's not the top of the typical Passo Campo Carlo Magno climb. They'll finish in Patascoss, which is the start of the Tre Tre ski track, where the World Cup slalom takes place.
I agree, it does not really add much to the stage.
Vegni also said that the stage will be followed by a rest day (that was predicted), and the 16th stage will start from Pinzolo, which is strange, if they finish in Tirano. The typical approach to Mortirolo would be Tonale/Gavia or Tonale/Aprica or something like that, but it would mean they'd climb to Madonna di Campiglio again at the beginning of the 16th stage, before getting to Passo Campo Carlo Magno and descending on Val di Sole to approach Tonale.
Unless they want to approach Mortirolo like they did in 1997, with Goletto di Cadino and Aprica.
Can't they just coast the lakes? It's kinda flat there...pink_jersey said:That stage with finish in Lugano can't be flat if they come from Italy. That area is very hilly. The only chance for a flat stage is if they will come from Bergamo.
