Hard to understand why nobody tried to attack earlier on that climb to catch Uran. The BMC rider clearly wasnt strong anymore so somebody should have tried to up the pace a little bit earlier. Mollema's acceleration just came too late.

I thought Uran would be doing the first attack, then Allaphillipe. It definitely surprised everyone.

Uran could be a big asset on the classic team. Too bad he want the grand tour more.

I am also happy that Kwiatkowski has shown a decent form. He will be ready as well. Closed an attack nicely and looked decent. Not sure why he didn't even try to sprint though.

Great win by Uran. Attacked at exactly the right moment. Very similar to Voecklers win in 2010.

Strong by Matthews and Kristoff to survive this, although Matthews ofcourse survived worse courses than this.
