Hofland will find a way to screw it up. Wippert to win.
Wouldnt really be a screwup if Hofland loses to Wippert in a dead flat sprint.

Team representation. Wippert is on his own and needs to find the right wheel. Hofland has the perfect leadout.

it would not even be a screw up. In dead flat sprints Hofland was never the best. Wippert was faster and still is faster I think.
If it was a slightly uphill sprint it would be a totally different matter.

lol lovely. I'll skip that one. Well maybe not. I'll watch the last 5km.

I thought someone posted the German one in this thread but I can't seem to find it.

Belgian one is also for the sprinters, but German one some people think is too hilly for Degenkolb if Martin was there but he isn't so it's an open field.

Lotto needs a way to drop Wippert. Hard to do so on this course, but Inguess attacking a lot is an option.
See what roompot can do and Giant have a chance as well with Sinkeldam.

German course

310 meter elevation gain

climb: 7,5 km with 3,9% (max. 10% - last 2 km with around 6%)

definitely to tough for sprinters like greipel and kittel.
better suited to degenkolb, gerdemann, wegmann, tony martin

What a performance, she dropped all the other riders in the front group just by setting a hard pace.
The strongest rider was Elisa Longo Borghini, she was caught behind in the main field and had no teammate and still managed to catch everyone except Cecchini on the climb.

Took me way longer than it should to realise you were talking about Lotto Jumbo...

The bookies think that degenkolb and greipel are the top favourites! Degenkolb okay, but greipel? This course should normally way to though for him.
One lap has more elevation gain than one lap in ponferrada and just slightly less than florence.
If they riding that climb with a proper speed, greipel shouldnt have a chance.

Hofland can beats Wippert, sinkeldam and any other dutch sprinter in a flat sprint, he almost win in zlm toer againts greipel in a flat sprint, normally the problem is that he is not well placed and for that reason he is unable to achieve a top result in flat sprint. However in uphill sprints he can pass riders with more facility like lobato but in lower gradients.

what about british course, who is the favourite? looks really punchy to me

It's a short and sharp cobbled climb around 300m @ 12%. I'm expecting guys like Kennaugh and Simon Yates to be involved.

This is the lap for Slovenian NC:

The field is maybe the strongest ever in Slovenian championships. The riders will do 15 laps or 178km. Should be a good race.

What team does she ride for?. As far as I knew it was Lotto Soudal.
Today there were some artifically created teams
Hers was Gs Fiamme Azzurre

Elisa Longo Borghini was in Gs Fiamme Oro
