This is the lap for Slovenian NC:

The field is maybe the strongest ever in Slovenian championships. The riders will do 15 laps or 178km. Should be a good race.

Spilak vs Adria Mobil?

Rooting for Roglic.

Well, Spilak is on the start list but he isn't certain to start. And it seems the profile looks harder than it actually is as Bozic won already twice on this course. So it should suit also riders like Bole, Pibernik, Mugerli maybe even Bozic again, Mezgec or Kump. I hope Spilak rides and makes the race hard.

what about british course, who is the favourite? looks really punchy to me

Some Sky rider as always.
Like the year when Cav won? I'd think so too though.

Since Sky have existed, they have won 4 out of 5 editions and filled 11 out of 15 podium positions of the national road race.

I have a feeling they all expect Lotto to start chasing, but they got likely the strongest rider in the break.
The route isn't selective though so it's hard to drop other riders. Would be nice if Lindeman managed to win it though.

I haven't seen anyone mention Scott Thwaites for the British road race. Probably not good enough on the climb but this season suggests he is the best on the cobblestones after Stannard, Thomas and Rowe.

Meanwhile in the men's race the peloton split on the first lap and it's being raced hard. The Yates brothers missed the split and are a minute behind. Cavendish just led the front group up the sharp climb and looked pretty comfortable. Other names there including Rowe, Stannard, Kennaugh.
