Post race interviews ...

Kennaugh not happy about tour last year, dont blame him either.

Cav ... not always gracious in defeat, but then thats what makes him what he is.

Stannard ... Chilled

Wouldn't want Cav to change, it's that attitude that drives him on to win. At least he's honest.

He's also just said he hurt his shoulder and is worried about it being serious.

C.A Sorensen and Mortensen lead the danish race. CULT has 2 men in the chasing group. Tinkoff has 1 and there's Fuglsang too
race has been fast and attacks everywhere, I never succeded in understanding the race situation until now

The race went crazy before the transmission started and it has been great ever since.

tv broadcast is awful: no distance, gaps or riders graphics

Cavendish saying he hit a camera with a couple of laps to go on the shoulder and it feels bad so needs to go and get it checked out. Hope it's just a bit of bruising and nothing more.
Yes, disappointing behaviour by a few 'fans' today,
Kennaugh also made contact on the last climb with
someone standing on the road to take a photo.

Nordhaug and Laengen lead over the final climb on an epic course in Norway. EBH and Bystrøm in a group about 1 minute behind. 20 km to go.

Another question: the Lincoln GP, whose course this race used, is some amateur race. Why isn't someone willing to step it up to 1.1? Good course for exciting racing, and the crowds exist to make it a special attraction for riders.

Should use the Lincoln race instead of that boring London-Surrey race

Certainly, but a new race would be welcome. The WT reforms scare me slightly in the way they seem to cement the status quo of race locations.
If it's moved up to at least 1.1 status then it should be held in the along with the Rutland Melton Classic (also would be moved up to at least 1.1 status) and put on the same weekend. It would be a bit like the the Omloop and KBK.

It's already one of the highlights of the British season. No need to change it and limit the number of British teams that would qualify to race.

Why the hell aren't the blue guys trying to attack Nordhaug? At least sit on his wheel. The chasing group is not gonna catch them. Sorry, but they are riding really dumb.

Its a National Championship. Personal ambition takes over ... and its all the better for that sometimes.
