They should be saving Greipel at this stage, not putting him on the front. With 35km to go, he could be a real contender.

I think the absence of Boonen and Cancellara has taken away all the reference points of the race. Nobody seems to have a clear plan.

It looks that way. I guess it will all explode in the last 10km with Degenkolb and Kristoff still there - so perhaps their planning for it not to end in a sprint!
