MSR, everyone waits for the final hill, sprinter wins, forum complains
RvV, one of the big favourites crash out, all the other big favourites wait for the last ascend of the Oude Kwaremont, somebody wins, forum complains
PR, Kristoff, Canc or Boonen wins, forum complains about rain or the lack of rain
AGR, ends in a boring uphill sprint, puncher wins, which is likely Gilberg, forum complains about the action and about Gerrans who will likely get seconds
FW, ends in a boring uphill sprint, Valverde, Purito or someone like that wins, people either complain about the lack of action or are happy to have skipped the first 198km of the race
LBL, ends in a boring uphill sprint, winner is a wheelsucker who receives hate from the forum, Gerrans will inevitably receive hate from everyone, irrelevant of his tactics.
CSS, exciting race, i'm not there to complain cause i'm on holiday
WCRR, dumb parcours, rouleur or strong sprinter wins, forum *****es about the parcours
GdL, everyone waits for months for the parcours to come out, which inevitably sucks, racing also sucks, Valverde gets second or third, again, and receives hate from the forum, as does the parcours

Giro d'Italia. Contador wins comfortably, ahead of Aru. He either races pretty conservatively and the forum *****es that he wasn't that good, or he annihilates the competition and people ***** that Froome, Nibali and Quintana wasn't there and that he only rode the Giro to avoid them

Tour de France option 1. Contador wins, ahead of Froome, Nibali or Quintana. people either ***** about that fact that he won tactically, or that he won because of cobbles, or because of one of his main rivals crashed out (if one of those happen). If he was the strongest people will ***** about him in another subforum
Tour de France option 2. Contador does not win, which means someone else wins. *****ing ensues, one camp will claim Contador is past it, and didn't dare coming to the Tour empty handed and they will claim somebody else (their fav rider) is way better, smarter, more awesome (insert dumb arguments here). These discussions will last at least untill the start of the 2016 season, probably until that Tour.

La Vuelta a Espana option 1. Contador has achieved the double and decides **** it i'll try.
1a. He wins it (or comes really close). Clinic meltdown
1b. He does somewhat ok considering 3GT of the year, but doesn't come close to Quintana and Froome, nothing really special happens
1c. Most epic blow up ever from someone of his calibre happens. He'll either drop out or goes for the once in a lifetime experience of riding the grupetto. Still, haters will use this to argue he's past it. The forum to ***** and moan about the atrocious parcours. I'll be one of those people

La Vuelta a Espana option 2. Contador does not ride the Vuelta (double or not). It's Froome vs Quintana, one of them wins or crashes out, (or both crash out and someone new will win a GT, yay). People will still doubt the winner cause Contador and Nibali weren't there. Descender will enter every single stage thead with a snarky comment about the race design, (while Libertine Seguros has redesigned every single stage at least twice in a totally awesome way).

Some youngsters will step up and do some nice rides/placings in GT's, which they will rewarded for by getting a thread in the clinic, as is tradition here.

The one-week stage races will be won by a mix of the elite GC riders and other good riders who peak at the right time. In the end, nobody really cares that much, unless discussing the best racer of the year 2015.

Other random prediction

Some Sky dude will write a book
During the Tour, Schleck whines about chaingate again
Gesink crashes out of both the Tour and the Vuelta
Sagan grabs his first big monument, but doesn't grabs podium girl ***
Cav causes more crashes
Tom Dumoulin continues his hilarious streak of tt's in which he finishes one place behind Tony Martin
JVDB will focus only on the Tour and will fail hugely, gets hated on by forum. May complain about someone else crashing, particularly if it's Contador

I'm sure I forgot a few:D

That's because he does not have any tactic other than the one that has got him where he is, and has made him understandably unpopular. He hasn't raced in a more interesting way since he rode for Cervélo.

With the new route CSS will be shiit just like this year. Stupid ****ing change of route.
The stupid loop to the West kills it. I get why they don't finish on Monte Igeldo, that would make it a wait-til-the-final-climb race where Gilbert or Valverde or Purito inevitably drop people. If they wanted to toughen it up they should have put Erlaitz in between the two ascents of Jaizkibel, so only doing Arkale the last time.

CastilloIngles1.gif

Jaizkibel-Erlaitz-Jaizkibel-Arkale. Works for me. Maybe an alternative would be to add Peña del Rey on the route from Arkale to Donostia, however that would mean putting Jaizkibel (slightly) further from the finish, putting in another smaller climb which might mean they still wait til the last climb, only it's not particularly selective.
