Rebellin must have cracked big time in the last 1.5 K
This is what happens to CCC when they make their biggest climbing talent domestique. Next time they should learn...

Didn't know Bilbao had this in him. Caja Rural went full bezerk. Mas Bonet is such a machine.

Also great to see Lopez coping with the European (not really, I know) racing. Like his mentality.

Mccarthy went for it but paid for his effort. Still managed to limit his losses. This has been a really good race from him, hope he cam keep it up.

Rebellin was really underwhelming. I had expected he would seal the victory, guess he had an offday.

I can't believe Rebellin cracked so hard ,it doesn't mater he's got a better race to win this year:Sibiu Cycling Tour

I wonder what's wrong with Hirt or CCC, hope they know what are they doing. Maybe they are preparing him for Giro? Such talented climber.
is he scheduled for giro?
No, he isn't. CCC killed him
Seems weird, they are not Sky
Uran, Henao's, Thomas, Froome, Wiggo...all developed nicely at Sky though.
Sebastián Henao I'll give you, but Sérgio is more or less still where he was when he first came to Europe. Urán was seen as a can't miss prospect, apart from his Lombardia podium in '08 skewing the graph, he's more or less improved similarly from Unibet to Caisse d'Epargne to Sky to OPQS, so how much of the development was due to Sky is difficult to tell.

The Britons, Thomas and Wiggins make sense as they had been under the umbrella of British Cycling run by many of the same people as Sky beforehand, and they've certainly benefited there. Froome didn't develop anything, he just hit up up down down left right left right B A Start before sign-on for stage 9 of the 2011 Vuelta and hasn't looked back since.

Nordhaug, Porte and Swift are guys you could point to who've developed nicely at Sky though.

caja rural went full kelme today. awesome
and torku at the base of the climb, full gas sprint on the big rings hehehe
and look de gendt there ,best on a climb since god knows
well davide is 44, he fought well but cracked big time

Sergio developed anyway, he's much better time trialist now so definitely better than he came to Europe. Rigo got better every year with Sky; maybe he was can't miss prospect (what I'd argue as I don't remember people telling he'll fight for GT podium), but that isn't contradictory to the fact he developed at Sky (with peak at Giro 2013) anyway. And he didn't improve in OPQS last year. I don't see how Swift differs from other Britons, maybe we could count him amongst them too?
Anyway we have quite a few names.

Its not because magnificent Sky's training method, just a regular personal development (maybe they helped Froome a bit, but mainly its because their power of will etc)

edit: Ohh gosh, *** the new quotes

Well nobody spoke about Sky's magnificent training methods. Just Libertine feeled there is something to say on the topic; point is bit unclear to me.

Truly top quality positioning work by Cavendish. His train got in trouble, with Boonen getting cut off in front and Cavendish and Renshaw getting boxed in. Cavendish darted to his right, and ended up back in space, then let Renshaw by and was instantly back on his wheel. The chase back on and the sprint will get more attention, but tactical improvisation in the last 1.5km that won the stage.

Renshaw has picked up his game now that he's back to leadout. These guys work beautifully together
