If one of Majka, Kreuziger, and Pinot are not in the break I will be dissapointed.
If weak break is away without pure climber then Kwiatkowski should join, he can catch up on descents.

If break doesn't make it then Valverde ftw

LOL. Now I am going to have fun with you. You got tired of trashing the Colombians?
You really think that Kwiat can do something in this Tour?

No, I dont :D. Wishfull thinking from me but I have zero issue with admitting that. It is possible though that really weak break (which I specified) goes and is allowed to stay away. Even if they distance him by 30-40 seconds at the top of the climb, he can get that back on descent and then wheelsuck on lower slopes just to hang on and outsprint them. In that case why would't he have a chance? Of course if there is good climber in the break then its not going to happen
A man can dream :D

Might be too early after the earthquake to rebuild the confidence. There are two similar chances in the Alps for the tactics this stage is offering, but how can they know if they should wait for the Alps?

for NQ it was the first real ascent in 2 months! ansd still came only 1 min down..let's see how it will unfold after he will get warm legs..

Quintana looked great today, think he will be brutal in the third week, but not sure it will be enough to beat Froome in the end.

Tomorrow could be fun. But that also was the case today so we'll see. I guess the break will be super strong and take the stage while moviestar will try to isolate froome (I have no idea if they will manage to do that but it is possible)

Alien to go thermonuclear on Cote de Loucrup 140 kms from the finish and will finish the stage before most riders ascend Tourmalet ;)

Ok, let's get serious. Today Froome's biggest rivals realised that thay can't better him in terms of pure climbing power so waiting until the last ascent is not a good option. They have to apply complete different tactics to have any chance of beating Froome. I think tomorrow we could have a serious attack by Nibali/Contador/other dissapointed favourites and their teams on Tourmalet or maybe even on Aspin. The goal is to tire Sky, isolate Froome and wait for his weaker moment. Impossible? You never know, 2 years ago Sky had a bad day after Froome and Porte knocked out everybody on Ax3Domaine. Froome is super strong but they have to attack him as anybody could have a bad day. I hope for some fireworks tomorrow.

by today the other GC guys know they cant win by themselves. its waiting for froome to fade and then gain time. you cant attak the strongest, because you get hit. the good news: in 2013 they didnt know about frooms weaker 3rd week and didnt dare to attack (stage 19). now the do.

By then Froome will be 7+ minutes ahead and even then only Quintana really got time on him (and purito kind of)
