The new points system certainly did make it more interesting. Last year Sagan wouldn't even have needed to take part in the sprints to still win the jersey.

Kittel not being there helps too. If he was here taking stage wins off Greipel while not bothering to contest inters again it would be much more one sided.

Lotto didn't get back in time. Trentin took the srpint ahead of Sagan who picked up 17 and Greipel was in 9th picking up 7 points.

So Sagan is back in green.

Nerz has abandoned.

Greipel did well to get 7 considering they were 30 secs behind a 70 man group just a few kms before the sprint

Rui Costa
Kwiatkowski ,Wellens,A.Yates,Sepulveda dropped.
I can't stop laughing at rui costa and his pathetic attempts at becoming a gc racer for 2 years now
If he at least would try at the Vuelta, which is more a day-after-day classic with uphill sprints rather than a real grand tour.

Sucks that we don't have live pictures now. Sounds like great racing.
Funny that everyone was saying yesterday they wouldn't watch because it would be boring. :p
