Giant-Alpecin cannot keep chasing this break - they don't have the riders for that.
This might be their last chance to get a stage win. Degenkolb is not beating Gorilla or Cav in Paris.

i just came to realise that exactly 10 years ago there was a stage at Pla d'adet that was won by a certain "G" Hincapie. how 'bout that ? isn't it quite a coincidence to have a cobble classic specialist this day that is overperforming in the mountains :D

BMC for what? Tinkoff maybe with Tosatto, but not very strongly. I see high options for the break today
Er... Greg VA is still in the race you know.
Mmmm could be, but I'm not sure if they will work so hard when there are some other riders more "favourites" for this little climb. I bet for the break :D

Barguil was talking about having a go tomorrow but it's true they are running out of chances to get a win.

Didn't see it but Tomalaris is a *** clown and I can't stand him. I never tune in until 20 minutes after the start of the broadcast, he's usually gone by then.

Tomalaris asked Robbie a question about whether Pluto is a planet or not which absolutely no sense and Robbie's facial expression was priceless :D

Mcewen says stage is way harder than it looks on the profile. Sadly enough it's not raining. Would have been a massacre otherwise i think.

Why is everyone wishing for rain in this Tour ?

Cause rain makes things way more interesting. You saw that stage in the dauphine that costa won? Rain :p

Another example the gap stage in tour 2011, rain and the very hard beginning made it awesome. Next day in that tour we've a similar profile, even a bit harder. GC guys try but no gaps, no rain :(

I hate riding in the rain and it causes crashes. I can do without the rain..
