Quemenuer, Clement, Barta and Fonseca in the breakaway. Nobody chasing, so looks like it's today's breakaway.

Why was Frome positioned dead center in the front and not Nibali? So much media focus on Froome in the neutralized section of the grand depart one would think he had won the itt and last year's Tour. This is in Universal/NBC's coverage.

I noticed that. They said that Nibali gave his spot to a local teammate but neither Nairo or Alberto were in the front row either.

Lars Boom was the local Astana rider. Quintana was visible just behind the jersey wearer's.

So who's actually going to sprint at the intermediate? Considering nearly all sprinters have said they're just going for stage wins and not the green jersey, I'm probably wrong but hasn't only Kristoff said he's trying to win it.

Hah turns out there's barely rain in Rotterdam, constantly changing predictions.. hope they will do a fine sprint.

You live here, you know how unpredictable forecasts are :)

One thing for sure, it is raining at the finish at the moment.

The Rai reporters said about half an hour ago that they had strong wind, about 30 km/h, at the finish line and that they expected rain, you could see that it was pretty windy.

Within certain boundaries they can at least predict the coming two or three hours. Also those change all the time.
