Valverde blamed Froome for the crash, Froome and Rowe went to Astana team bus and spoke for two minutes. Evidently Valverde has lost his mind.

If Valverde thought Froome caused the crash, shouldn't Froome go to the Movistar bus?

Clearly he cares more about Nibali's opinion than Valverde's
Nibali crashed into Froome. Froome went to the Astana bus to give Nibali' an opportunity to acknowledge his error and make amends. Judging from Nibali's tweet, Froome gracefully accepted.

LaFlorecita with some decent trolling, although a bit obvious.

Don't think it's trolling tbh. He's just blinded by his love for his idol
I am not blinded, and neither am I a guy.

I am angry because Froome took advantage of the situation, that's all. He's making me hate him more and more each day.

Wow, how can anyone hate a cyclist? What has he done to you? I think you should consider a psychiatrist.
seems like anyone being an obstacle on the way to contador's win is a personal enemy. real cycling fan :D

any info on nairito, guys? is he ok?

Perhaps Valverde momentarily forgot that Froome was no longer in yellow, and therefore blamed him for the crash?

It is also a bit strange that Froome crossed the line a minute after Nibali, who was on the ground for a long time. What happened to Froome? Not that I think he shouldn't get the same time, but it is strange that he took so long to cross the line. He only got to the line a minute before Tony Martin, who was on the ground forever and was crawling towards the finish after that with his injured collarbone/arm.

I think you've got it.

As for what happened to Froome, maybe in some highlights shows we will see the realtime footage of Froome and the people who crashed getting up? They showed us Martin but we need the others.

Nibali accused Froome of causing the crash, which prompted Froome to clear things up. Nibali has apologised to Froome.

Nibali's tweet says that he (Nibali) thought it was Froome who caused the crash, it seems. Froome then went to the bus to clarify things, and Nibali apologized.

I'll translate.

Confirms what Froome said. Nibali thought Froome caused the crash, Froome came over to tell him he didn't cause the crash and Nibali apoligized for the accusations.

Misguided shark attack. :)

The blame-game shows just how quickly these things go down that knowing what actually happens is very much guesswork for the riders themselves until they watch the video. If Froome caused Valverde's earlier incident, I think the Movistar tweet about it would've mentioned this pertinent information, but who knows.

Martin told the media a Europcar rider touched his back wheel.
Does Martin have eyes on his back? Otherwise it’s pretty hard to know who is behind you...
Martin touched the Europcar in front of him the Lampre guy behind him didnt touch him

Valverde Froome Rowe and Nibali furiously poring over the nascar post-race confrontation rulebook..... "What the heck, this isn't English, or American English for that matter, wtf....? and why are their rv's so much nicer ?"
now that's funny. to bad most of European cousins won't get it.

Martin explained after the stage what caused the crash. "I touched the back wheel of a Europcar rider. It was stressful like always. I can’t really remember but as usual with crashes when they are not at high speed, normally the injuries are the worst," he said.

Who was the Europe car rider who touched Tony Martins front wheel? Because from the replay it looks like he cut across Tony causing him to crash.

Let's face it though, anything Froome does probably makes you angry.
Indeed, gee I wonder why, maybe because the guy is a total idiot :)

Oh god La Flo. Stop making a fool out of yourself.

You know I got nothing against you so take this as an advice from someone who wishes you the best. I allready know you won't listen though :D
Do you honestly think I give a single **** about any of you? Do you honestly think I care what a bunch of anonymous posters on a silly forum think of me? Of course not :D I already know people think I have a mental illness, they've been kind enough to remind me of that countless times, so no, I'm not going to stop or hold back.

what a complete meltdown

This makes much more sense, and it is what I’ve actually suggested here:

Ok, the only way I can make sense of Martin is that he was too close to the Movistar (Europcar ?) rider in front of him and he moved to the right to avoid touching his wheel or rear derailleur

I don't know who it was, but when I saw it live I assumed the Europcar must have stood up, and his wheel came back into Martin.

EDIT: Yeah, it looks like the Europcar stood up to bridge the gap and Martin was too close to his wheel. Check the video in this link:

Yeah sorry about the back wheel confusion, I was reading some Norwegian website.

The Europe car ride moves left across Martins front wheel, and Martin goes down.

You can see the video on Froome's twitter page.
