Julien Simon finished top-20 on the Mur, and he can sprint as well, so he could do a top-5 today (if he isn't blown away in echelons before). For the win, Sagan will be the man to beat, surely.

Thanks Stelvio!
If the wind does not pick up, Etixx and Giant want to keep this together and we will have a bunch sprint.
Degenkolb and Sagan will fight for the win. EBH and Greg will fight for 3rd.

I think the GC guys might spoil the party for Sagan. Those boni seconds attraction might be too hard to let it go.

I think there was simillar finish on last year's Vuelta and Dan Martin came 2nd to Matthews and in front of Purito, so I wouldn't be surprised to see him in the mix here even if it doesn't look hard enough for him. He is rarely mentioned in this thread so far. Maybe people assume he will crash before the climb. :D

I agree. Martin is way better at 7-9% gradients than he is on the super steep Murito climbs. He could win it today.

Perhaps the best stage for him after the Mûr-de-Bretagne.

I go with Matthews at 40:1.

Otherwise Sagan vs Degenkolb. And Avermaet in Top 5 for sure.

If you're going to donate money to bookies donate it to me. I'll give you odds of $1001 for Matthews to win the stage.

It was 40:1 yesterday, now it's even 100:1.

It's already 3 days since he crashed, he'll be much better today.

Not sure if serious.
He could barely get on the podium yesterday to collect his prix de combativité. Broken ribs don't heal in 3 days time.

Some thought of battle for KOm Jersey, expect De Gendt to be in the break

De Gendt is more dead than alive with his broken rib.
I think all of the Mur de Huy top finishers will be in the mix: Nibali, Froome, Vuillermoz, Martin, Gallopin, Quintana, Yates, Barguil, Uran, Van Avermaet and Sagan. If Nibali feels like it, he can try something here, but I guess he will wait for Saturday on Mur de Bretagne.

Froome to use his new hill sprint skills and go for bonus seconds.

Interested in Froome, are we? I can also recommend cycling. Fun sport.

We might have our break of the day: Teklehaimanot, Quémeneur (again) and Vanbilsen with 1.15
