That also includes the british fanboys and what they think about sky, apperently sky has been dominating the GT's in the last 5 years.......

Funny how the entire sky team/with riders only have won 2 GT's ( in 5 years !!!) while contador alone has won 2 in less than 1 year :D :D

My mistake. You did not mention the kennaugh or Poels part. I apologize for putting words into your mouth. However, that still does not explain the GT domination part. Please post one instance of this hype or admit that you made it up out of whole cloth to try to wind people up. Or actually address the argument I made about SKY in my previous post.

I was talking about in general and my opinion of some peoples assumptions blabla I never made anything up to make a point, why would I need that? all I did was bringing up 2 stats which btw is a fact nothing more nothing less.

Your problem good sir is that you seem to take things personal which is your problem not mine. Like you said the truth is that Sky sent a brilliant team for this years tour I mean what has that to do with the case? like wtf?? Skys TdF team is absolutely brilliant only a fool would argue that but when exactly did that become the point of the argument :p ? You see where im getting at and why this is a meaningless discussion since were arguing about nothing it seems :D

You are entitled to your opinion, but the rest of us are entitled to call you out if it is uninformed or unsupported by reality. Whether you are an English speaker or not is beside the point. You call SKY overrated and post the same cherry-picked stat over and over again. There is no other interpretation for that stat and that has always been the crux of the argument. Now you are calling the SKY tour team brilliant. Those two opinions cannot coexist. The argument you are having is apparently with yourself. Carry on, good sir....

Those two opinions cant coexist? :p Hahaha where can I find these people in real life ROFL

And unsupported and uninformed is exactly what you is you even admited so last post. :p Now I dont seriously know what kind of diagnos you have but dude give me 1 thing I wrote which was wrong and then you can say so (aboaut the fact that sky has won 2 GT last 5 years and Contador 2 ALONE in less than 12 months? you have yet to do so cause its impossible to do it, but yet you say that im uninformed and unsupported? I dont know if you even understand yourself how stupid you sounds but hey whatever this is just to much im out lmfao.

Next time then dont get so upset when someone comes along and cracks ur bubble with a few facts jesus christ :D I wish you a speedy recovery

Exactly. Just like before the giro all of a sudden RIchie Porte was suppose to win the giro and it was all this talk from em all the time how richie this how richie that (THE GUY HAS ONLY FINISHED TOP 10, TOP 10 FFS JUST ONCE IN A GT) and now all of a sudden was suppose to win a GT just like that..........that was when i realized its hopeless and gave up trying to even comment on the stuffs cause it literally made 0 sence for people with half a brain. Now again its just same story different page, at this point it just cracks me up tbh :D :D

I get it. you are not used to being called out when you are way off base. This was wrong. Do I need to post the poll again to prove you wrong?

I think people severely over estimate how popular sky are as a team, I think people assume that English speaking people support them, rest assured that is not the case. I'm Irish and even though Roche and Deignan are with sky you would find very ver very few Irish people cheering on team rupert Murdoch, I would like to see the lads do well but sky - nah, too much bad history involving murdochs media and their treatment of Ireland, hypocritical I know cause I have sky sports, there was outcry in Ireland when sky bought part of TV coverage of our national sports. Likewise in a lot of parts in the uk (I have to travel a bit there with work) you will find a lot of people wanting local riders to do well but cheering on sky, hmmm not sure about that. I suggest you go to Scotland, Wales or in particular north west England especially liverpool and see the reaction you get if you said people were sky fans or support a team owned by rupert Murdoch

I think this is pretty accurate - I'm also Irish and I've never talked to a Sky supporter. I did a sportive a few weeks ago with around 3,000 people in it and I only saw a couple of Sky jerseys all day - they were way, way outnumbered by various Garmin jerseys and there were also probably more jerseys from old teams that Kelly Roche etc used to ride for like PDM, Kas, than Sky ones. In general though any Irish people I know are not fanboyish about professional teams full stop.

In the high mountains he'll never be up there with froome when there's 20 guys left which is the point you were making.

Nicolas Roche top 20 finishes in Tour de France mountain stages:

2009 3rd stage 16: Martigny - Bourg-Saint-Maurice
2010 17th stage 14: Revel - Ax-3 Domaines
2010 13th stage 16: Bagnères-de-Luchon - Pau
2010 11th stage 17: Pau - Col du Tourmalet
2011 16th stage 12: Cugnaux - Luz-Ardiden
2011 14th stage 17: Gap - Pinerolo
2011 18th stage 18: Pinerolo - Col du Galibier
2012 14th stage 10: Mâcon - Bellegarde-sur-Valserine
2012 19th stage 11: Albertville - La Toussuire-Les Sybelles
2012 14th stage 16: Pau - Bagnères-de-Luchon
2012 12th stage 17: Bagnères-de-Luchon - Peyragudes
2013 16th stage 16: Vaison-la-Romaine - Gap
2014 9th stage 17: Saint-Gaudens - Saint-Lary-Soulan Pla d’Adet

He's hardly Lucho Herrera but he's obviously a good enough climber to be a useful domestique.
