Interested in who Astana decides to cut. They have 10 names who all supposed to be locks.

I was wondering the same. In the last article from Passo San Pellegrino (http://tribunatreviso.gelocal.it/sport/2015/06/24/news/io-nibali-ed-il-tour-slongo-fa-il-punto-sulla-sfida-bis-di-luglio-1.11672803) Slongo says Scarponi, Westra, Kangert, Grudvez, Taaramae are training with Nibali while other two sure of a place are Vanotti and Grivko who are now resting after Baku.

He's forgetting one name but it seems one of Fuglsang/Boom is out

Katusha is finalized on procyclingstats.
Rodriguez
Kristoff
Losada
Caruso
Paolini
Kozontchuk
Haller
Guarnieri

Why isn't Moreno there?

It has already been discussed a bit in this thread two pages back ;)
To me it seems like Kristoff and Purito more or less could handpick three helpers each. At least Alex said to the Norwegain media a month ago that he wanted Haller, Paolini and Guanieri and he got all three. Kozuntchuk is a proven man to do the dogs work on the early part of most stages, and Machado might have been chosen ahead of Moreno for the TTT?

Link? If so, it's kinda strange that he would pick Machado over Moreno.

Rumour is Moreno is leaving Katusha, so they won't pick him for the big races, or something. Moreno sent out some angry tweets about it before Katusha announced the TdF team.

Yes, seems like they set up a 10 member team expecting some casualty on the way. But everyone is still healthy, all of them were 'supposed' to go, and they don't know among themselves yet who's the one that gets cut. I wonder if it could be Kangert though, just because he the only one of them who did Giro already this year.

Don't know if Giant's lineup has been shared already.

Cannondale's Alex Howes will not race the Tour, he's been ill
he'll prepare for Utah-Colorado-Worlds
Don't think he would have made it to the roster anyway. It's his worst season since he joined WT.

I guess it's between: Talansky, Hesjedal, Martin, Cardoso, Ben King, Haas, Bauer, Langeveld, Van Baarle, Navardauskas and Koren. Maybe Moser, but I doubt.

Would like to see more climbers since it's likely they won't be focused on protecting one guy on flat/hilly stages and they won't have a pure sprinter also. But Howes and Danielson are already confirmed to skip. Dombrowski is supposed to ride Vuelta. Formolo no way he is doing Giro-Tour at this young age. The same goes with Brown. Acevedo has been woeful this season. And Slagter seems not to be doing his 2nd GT this year also.

moreno will ride the österreich rundfahrt instead of the tour, thats bitter for him
btw, I read that in an austrian internet article, where they wrote that moreno will be the captain of team KATJUSCHA in austria :D

Anyone else suprised that Alaphilippe is not going? Also what kind of form do you think Uran will come in? Good enough to challenge top 10 (or even top 5)?

He's not going for GC. Just a stage. And in the mean time he can drive the train for a few hundred metres before the Panzewagen takes over

No Kittel?
Okay this will be the best gt ever :D . Seriously I am normally never happy when someone can't race somewhere but Kittel is just the most unspectacular racer ever

Ever seen Gerrans Simon?

Still 100 times better than Kittel. And not as big a wheelsucker.

Kittel is not really a wheelsucker though, he doesn't get into breaks and refuse to work, he relies on his team and when fit is power wise the fastest sprinter in the peloton.

Well his team usually hardly work and they tend whine when other teams do leave it up to them. Etixx always ride regardless and they never complain.

They do do little work for how good kittel is. And Etixx definitely do the most. But they do complain. Cavendish complains... A LOT

Mainly when he loses. And after his team worked day after day. Giant cry it's unfair after one day. At least that's my observation.

Maybe giant should watch HTC 2009-2011 and then say its unfair

I'm very surprised, that he has not been picked. Will be interesting if he wins the national jersey over the weekend.

Moser will ride the Österreichrundfahrt, he said that in an interview a few days ago.
