Confirmed Sky Tour team: Froome, Porte, Poels, Thomas, Roche, Kennaugh, Stannard, Konig, Rowe
No Henao,*** this.I'm disappointed, hopefully Konig will this time ride as a proper domestique and not for himself as in Giro.Team selection is as expected but with this odd choice of Konig instead of Henao.

Who do people think has the best climbing team behind them of the big four? I think Sky's climbers are probably slightly better than Astana's or Movistar. With Saxo probably the worst of the four.

Obviously Saxo's climbers are quality as well. However, I think they're the weakest of the four based on the fact that Rogers, Basso, and Roman are all backing up from the Giro.

This is true but good thing they have the best GT rider of this generation then sure helps alot :D (even tho he did the giro, would be to easy for him if not like he said he needs a challenge :p )

Two words: Sky train. They'll have two riders with Froome when everybody, but the leaders of a few teams, will be long gone.

Who are those two riders, Poels and Little Richard? I expect Majka and kreuziger to be there with them!

8 as expected for Team Sky. The other spot was always a decision between Henao and Konig according to this article.

I personally thought Henao had sealed it after Suisse but I guess Konig is flying after the Giro and is better in the TTT.

Konig, Porte and Thomas for Deignan and Boswell from Dauphine should mean Sky do a lot better in the Tour TTT. Win it? Not sure as other teams always prepare specifically to win it but they will come close.

Kreuziger is not the climber he used to be. He will get dropped before they are 50 riders in the peloton. I expect Rogers and Kišerlovski to last longer. Contador and Majka will be alone when Sky still have Froome, Porte, Poels and König.

Maybe Roche will last longer than Rogers/Kišerlovski/Kreuziger too.

G Thomas, Konig, Kennaugh and Roche will get rid of the doms and then Poels and Porte will hurt the leaders. That's the Sky plan anyway.

i think sky's advantage isn't at spots 2-4, but at 5-7. no other team has people as good as Thomas, Kennaugh or Roche (who i assume will be better than earlier this season based on nothing more solid than the fact he was picked) in those positions.

oh dear lord is it that time again? do you people never learn anything? is it really the porte saga all over again just this time in tdf with froome and the strong team? jesus christ you guys must be eating some wierd shiet:p Just dont be surprised when sky flops all over tdf just like the giro where all you guys where also out saying porte would kick ass blablabla

Tbh at this point its just hillarious since it seems they never learn its just to funny :p

Yeah. Having Kennaugh (or Thomas) as the first climber to be used is really a luxury.
