Gaviria... I think there was this Colombian in the U23 WC RR last year in Ponferrada with a decent attack only getting caught on the last hill. Wasn't that Gaviria too or am I confusing him with someone else? Would be pretty impressive by him if he can ride like that and sprint like this.

Anyway, if them Colombians start beating us on flat stages too, us Europeans can quit this whole cycling thing already.

Yes, Maarten was talking about a Colombian who was caught on the last hill, and that was Bryan Ramirez. In fact, it was again Ramirez who attacked downhill and was caught with 300m to go, not Gaviria.
