Re: 2015 Tour de Suisse Stage 2 Risch-Rotkreuz - Risch-Rotkr

Climbs 2 x +-300 m altitude change with max 5 %. then its 2 x 3.5 k with an average of 8-10 %. On hot days the last climb is really exposed to the sun and the lower slopes are like 12 %, so perfect for a brisk pace to force some selection. The downhill is super fast in the middle section. I wouldn't be surprised to see some 100 km/h plus numbers on strava.

Re: 2015 Tour de Suisse Stage 2 Risch-Rotkreuz - Risch-Rotkr

Michaelskreuz is 3,8km at 9%. That's 1 km too long for Sagan.

But it depends how they will ride it. If there'll be a group of 20 riders at the summit then Sagan will be there.

Re: 2015 Tour de Suisse Stage 2 Risch-Rotkreuz - Risch-Rotkr

I think this stage can be anything between a sprint from a 50-men group to GC contenders reaching the line in small groups with some important gaps in GC made. I think the best climber in the race can take this if the last two climbs are raced hard. But that would probably demand some early attacks from important riders, since I can't see any teams with enough climbing strength to make a carnage here.

Sagan should be the favourite, but he will probably be second somehow. GVA to win

Way too hard for Greg. For Sagan as well I think although you never know with him.

Dont think the pace will be furious. I think guys like Sagan, GVA and Albasini probably will be there.

I expect serious attacks. It's hard enough, also because they race the climb twice in the final 40k.
