That's fool's gold, Gerry, fool's gold.

Ugh, Thomas.

he rode SO strongly that Pinot is still there.

What do you mean? Pinot is where he belongs. Geraint not quite where expected.

But Thomas will excel in rain and if it's being raced so easily Pinot is still there it's a little less bizarre than it looks.

And yet none of the best climbers managed to launch a successful attack.

Froome tried to ride away, couldn't do it. Is his shape dropping or is the rain?

Hmmm, if movistar and tinkoff still want to win this, it's maybe not over.
He realized that being too dominant would lead only to doping suspicions

Not realy, froome doesn't care about that. He's badshit crazy, besides he tried to attack so i think he just couldn't do it.

Needs to be steeper for his high cadence attacks to work, 15% or some such.

This is what basically clean cycling looks like folks. If you dont like it go see some 1990s races on youtube

hahahahahahahaha

I am lost for words :D this should be in the clinic not here... for real..

This reminds me of another era where a poster wrote almost the same thing... but thats another age, with other teams and other riders.

haha Piti doesn't give a **** about Nairo

Denying Froome a spot is actually very team-oriented. As the sprint showed Froome easily showed his sprinting qualities, overcame Nairo and nearly snubbed proven specialist Bala on it.

A shame there are too many jerseys for Froome to take them all. Oh well, Paris beckons.

Go back and read comments about how weak Quintana's attack was.

I just can't understand no one being willing to go out early and try to hit a home run to try and win. No one is getting 3 minutes otherwise on Froome.

They have all lost faith, thats why we don't see anything crazy.. they are fighting for leftovers.

Aslong as cycling computers and radio communication is in the race, this will be how the stages go, its nothing weird, but it sure is boring to look at.

How can they do that? They tried. Thomas and Porte were just too strong. This stage wasn't a good one for riders to long range attacks on. If they did they would have lost a lot of time to Froome and put it beyond doubt.
