Nice to see Rob Britton in 3rd overall. He's still the Strava KOM on a few of the local hills here, from his time with Raleigh. Have only been up a couple of them, but his average speed was quicker than my maximum

He just came from a respectable win in The Gila.

Crash!

Cav and Sagan, probably in that order. Wippert has been surprisingly impressive, though.

Nice of the camera to stay with Cav for so long after having crossed the line.

Was an interesting run-in to the finish though, the first 15 or so riders just rode everyone else off their wheel. Don't get to see that so often

Sagan bad timing. The top speed was good

He was in the slipstream for a long time tho so he seemed faster than he was, especially because Cav stopped sprinting with about 25m to go

When u see the head on camera shot it is obvious why Cav is a top sprinter, his frontal area is so small, prob smallest of any sprinter with his short arms and small physique. There was a (lotto jumbo?) guy behind him presenting about twice the frontal area!

I have a feeling that Sagan is improving his sprint from the start of the season, otoh it probably won't matter at Tour :(
