Beating Paterski and De Clerq shouldn't be an absolute given for Rolland this time of the year.

I wouldn't say he has a better chance, but he surely can threaten Rolland.

How many minutes do Rolland (or De Clercq) need to win the GC? At least 4? Or less?

edit: Paterski is a better climber than I thought.
