2015 Vuelta stage 10: Valencia > Castellón 146.6km

We could have another nice little stage on our hands here, like Friday. Groups all over the road with lots of attacks near the end.

At the moment all attempts are to form a more viable breakaway from the original 40 strong group which has broken up.

Henao virtually 2nd in GC
at the moment

(no need for Sky to chase then)

:D

Good break, we will see a good figth in Desierto de las Palmas. Too very good people. I d love too see Verona wining, but very difficul, stiill my favourite is Luis León.

LLS has already been dropped from the break. Verona and Zoidl were reeled in too by the break and Zoidl went out the back.

So they start a stage in Valencia but don't finish one there?

Doesn't make any sense at all. They should've finished in Valencia today so they could do the transfer by plane. Now it will 400 kms by car/bus.
Unless Unipublic ponies up to charter fly the whole Vuelta caravan to La Seu d'Urgell, they'll be having to fly to Barcelona, Girona or Toulouse (no commercial flights to La Seu d'Urgell at time of writing), then drive the rest of the way, so that could be why.

Okay, thought Girona was much closer to Andorra

Anyone know what's going on with Danny van Poppel?

Yet to contest a sprint but went in the break yesterday. All a bit odd.

Assume he's no chance of making it over and into any select bunch sprint today?

Real shame there's so little competition left for Degenkolb in this race now.
