He dropped all but one. He probably just rode to hard for them. Also he's gotta keep the pace up, he'll probably need those 10 minutes.

Edit: I take that back, thought the last climb was 5k longer for some reason.
Should be more than enough.

I think you are putting to much into this. In the last stages, Dumoulin was up front in most of the stage, but got dropped in the last k's. It's still not the last climb to come.

Sure, but the scenario looks the same as yesterday. Tom is in the cards for winning the Vuelta if he looses less than a minute today.

I'd go as far as saying that if he loses two minutes today, he can still win. He should just focus on riding is own tempo, not going with the attackers or into the red and limit loses. That seems to have worked so far.

Probably.

Dumoulin should take at least 2 minutes even if it's late in the race. It's almost 40 and dead flat most of the course.

You guys are underestimating the Sierra de Madrid stage. It tends to open up quite large gaps.
